In times past it has been ruled by the High Princess of Anihilation, but at this time I cannot confirm if that is true. the Demonic Court has gone through quite a lot of upheaval of late, and to tell the truth, I’m not an expert. I’m not even sure who the current High Princess of Anihilation is.
However, there has been one constant for many aeons now, and that is the High Prince of Anihilation Angbard, who is the ruler of the Castle of Nightmares, which is found at the heart of this Demonic Abyss. There is also more than a little conjecture that Swayvanna, now counted amongst the red-eyed, will no doubt have been trading on the fact that her mother is an Abyss Queen to further her ambitions here. She may even be the closest thing to a ruler that the Realm has. But conjecture is all I can offer.
Update:
There is new information that has become available. For one thing, this Realm used to be at the bottom of that new Abyss hole in Thelbane that is sitting where Jesbyways used to be. But this is no longer the case. There seems to be a volcano at that location in Thelbane now.
Second, the Demonic Abyss is ruled by Queen Ravenna, and Crown Princess Seraphina.
Third, there was a prison on the Realm, and during the relocation to Bluewater, it is possible that some of the prisoners managed to escape, or perhaps were released intentionally. Either way, their inventory is now somewhat lighter than it formerly was.
Further Update:
I am now in a position to confirm that Queen Ravenna has taken control of this Realm, and has completed it by placing a Black Sun in the sky. She has appointed Seraphina as her Crown Princess, and upon discovering that Frigg Hendrake was imprisoned in the Realm, has raised her to be a Sister-Princess in her court.
At this time it is believed that Swayvanna, and six of her supporters, are being held prisoner in the Demonic Abyss. Queen Ravenna was heard to say “It would seem somewhat pointless maintaining the Demonic prison, if you didn’t have anybody in it”.
The well being, if that is the right word, of High Prince of Annihilation Angbard is not known at this time. His marriage to Swayvanna has been declared nullified by order of Queen Ravenna, but whether he is also imprisoned, or still at large, is not known.
