Goddess of oaths, pledges and noble sacrifices
Lucidia was the eldest handmaiden daughter of the Don, the original prototype for the handmaidens, possessed of free will. She ascended only very recently, in Caelum, and immediately declared that she was still a loyal follower of the Don, and demanded that her name be written in Black until such time as the Don’s name was not also written in black. This caused the Senate to begin discussing whether to un-blacken the Don, and they eventually declared that both the Don and Lucidia should be named in Grey.
