  1. So, having met a few of the Servants of both sides.. Can anyone speak to whether the Light and Dark are personae, entities, or forces?

  2. Sorry AC I’m not sure I’d understand the distinction you are making here? Could you explain a bit more what you are trying to figure out?

  3. We have seen, met, dealt with or ‘are’ servants of what?
an ideal? Power? Force? entity? What is the Light? Or is it a Who? Likewise what/who is the Dark?

  4. It a good question. I’m not sure I have a great answer for you.

I’ve never met a personality or being that claimed to be the whole of the Light or the whole of the Dark.

I know I sometimes have what I feel is a direct experience of the Light. It flows through me I heal or do certain other helpful things. Usually at those moments its pretty hard to concentrate on analyzing the thing itself because I’m pretty busy using that energy to fix someone or something.

I think my experience feels more like force or power. I can sort of sense it in living things around me.

I’ve never talked to the Light directly. I have taken up praying. It feels rather odd in a way. My family are confirmed pagans most of them. When we pray its usually to a god we know and think of as a persona of some kind. I don’t know if that’s a convenient way to focus mental and spiritual energy or a truth. Praying to the Light is actually harder for me. I spent some time researching monotheistic religions trying to find something that fit without some of the trappings that are so obviously human built. I went for Zoroastrianism and borrowed many of my prayers from that tradition. It still doesn’t quite feel right somehow. So now I just ask. I may feel foolish but no one ever came to harm over that.

Sometimes, rarely, I do feel I am answered. That is even harder to describe. I can’t really. The occasions are very brief and generally really tiring when I do feel I have connected directly.

One of the good bits about being able to speak to the Servants is that its a bit more understandable in human terms than these direct experiences are.

For the Dark, when I have direct contact with it I simply get very physically sick. It is literally a visceral experience. As an example, when my friend showed me the book that she had been given I became very ill. I vomited on it and passed out when I tried to handle it the first time. My friend told me when I woke up that the places where my vomit had landed on the book, the book smouldered and burned like it had been struck by a powerful acid.

Make of that what you will. Sorry I can’t be more help.
