As decreed by the Emperor, the highest posts in the military are the Joint Chiefs (2 generals and 2 admirals) and the Judge Advocate General. Those 5 people run a force which numbers millions, all licenced to kill, in a society where the military are also the police. There are two major branches to the military - the army and the navy.
